Kova Studio has been in my heart since I was 18, when I first stepped into the world of events. It didn’t have a name back then (why is naming something the hardest part?), but I always knew I wanted to build something of my own. No matter where my career took me, I kept gravitating back to the same thing: creating moments that make people feel something.
My biggest inspiration has always been my mom. She created magic in my world growing up — over-the-top birthday parties, whimsical crafts, elaborate holiday traditions. I was raised believing that everything, big or small, deserves to be recognized and celebrated. Why not make the most of every moment we’re lucky enough to experience?
That belief shaped me. Every milestone for friends and family became an opportunity to elevate the details, layer in intention, and create something unforgettable.
I’ve always been someone who romanticizes life — finding beauty in the everyday, seeking out new places, and uncovering hidden gems that meet the level of taste and experience I’m constantly chasing. I’m endlessly inspired by beautiful spaces, thoughtful details, and the feeling you get when everything just comes together. Creating that feeling for others is what drives me.
At 18, I was introduced to the professional side of events through my cousins, founders of Lustre Events. Watching their level of execution — the overflowing florals, hand-selected place settings, and deeply personalized details — completely captivated me. I started as a helper and eventually became their trusted day-of coordinator. I was hooked.
From there, I formally pursued both marketing and event management, beginning with studies in advertising and marketing, followed by an intensive post-graduate event management program where I interned in the wedding office at a luxury hotel, and finishing with my Bachelor’s of Commerce with Specialized Honours in Marketing.
My career has since spanned promotional advertising, hospitality management, luxury retail and art gallery management, and brand marketing. I’ve built event programming from the ground up across multi-venue hospitality properties — overseeing client management, food and beverage, logistics, and event teams. I’ve managed art openings, brand launches, book launches, workshops, weddings, markets, media events, elevated client experiences, brand activations, and milestone and holiday celebrations.
Every chapter has sharpened my eye, strengthened my execution, and deepened my understanding of how thoughtful details transform a gathering into something meaningful.
Kova Studio is the natural evolution of everything I’ve built and everything I’ve always known I wanted. It’s where strategy meets taste, where intention meets atmosphere, and where celebration extends beyond the event itself.
Through offerings like The Kova Concierge and The Kova Experience, I bring that same level of care and creativity to both grand occasions and the in-between moments — curating thoughtful experiences, meaningful surprises, and beautifully designed days that make everyday life feel a little more special.
